She now leads her own consulting practice and serves on the boards of two publicly traded companies, advising on strategy, digital transformation, and customer experience.

Biography

Brigid Bonner is a senior executive and board member with a rare combination of marketing, digital, and IT leadership experience spanning retail, healthcare, eCommerce, and the nonprofit sector. She began her career in sales and marketing management at IBM before joining Target, where she served as Director for emerging technologies and later as VP of Target Technology Services, leading systems integration across data centers, distribution hubs, and stores. Brigid went on to become GM of Target.Direct, an eBusiness start-up within Target, where she helped drive the growth of the company’s early online retail presence.
She was later named Chief Information and Marketing Officer for Simon Delivers, a grocery home delivery start-up, where she tripled revenue in two years and built foundational data warehouse capabilities. Brigid then moved into healthcare, serving as CIO for UnitedHealth Technologies and subsequently as SVP of Strategy & Planning for Optum, guiding growth, technology, and innovation priorities across the business. She continued to apply her digital and customer-experience expertise as SVP of Digital Marketing at Schwan’s Home Service, where she overhauled the website and focused on strengthening the end-to-end customer journey.
Brigid later transitioned to the nonprofit space as Chief Experience Officer at CaringBridge, bringing a mission-driven lens to digital experience leadership. Today, she runs her own consulting practice and serves on the boards of two publicly traded companies, advising on strategy, digital transformation, and customer experience at scale.
