Cathy Mahone is an executive coach and strategic advisor who partners with CEOs and senior leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness, enhance organizational performance, and lead with clarity and confidence. She brings over 30 years of executive experience in global financial services and private equity–backed organizations, most recently serving as Chief Administrative Officer at Allianz and Venerable.
Cathy’s expertise spans enterprise transformation, operations and technology strategy, workforce engagement, governance, and culture alignment. She has led large-scale initiatives that improved scalability, efficiency, and transparency while building leadership capability and organizational resilience. Known for her calm presence, intuitive insight, and results orientation, she blends operational discipline with empathy and candor to support leaders through both everyday demands and pivotal transitions.
In her coaching work, Cathy emphasizes self-awareness, alignment, and execution. She helps leaders deepen emotional intelligence, sharpen strategic focus, and make confident decisions in complex, ambiguous environments. Cathy holds a Master of Arts in Business Communications from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities. She also earned a Cyber Risk & Strategy Certification from the Diligent Institute and holds FINRA Series 7 and 24 licenses, equipping her to advise leaders in highly regulated, risk-sensitive contexts.
