Lisa Zell spent 18 years at CHS Inc, a Fortune 100 global agribusiness cooperative. As CHS’s General Counsel, she led the Legal, Compliance, and Government Affairs functions, overseeing international M&A initiatives and creating the first company-wide compliance program. Her leadership expanded across three continents, with legal teams in the US, Russia, and Brazil. Lisa significantly grew the Government Affairs department and doubled the funding for the CHS Political Action Committee. Her strategic vision was further proven when she transitioned from Legal to lead a $100M business within CHS.
Beyond CHS, Lisa served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for the Midwest Reliability Organization, a cross-border regulator ensuring electric reliability compliance in both the US and Canada. She was named COO of Salon Innovations, driving growth for a national distributor serving Great Clips. Currently, Lisa is the General Counsel for Redwing Shoes, continuing her track record of strategic legal and operational leadership across industries.
