Biography
Shay Wyley is an independent Board Director experienced in Private, Family owned, and Non-Profit governance across a variety of sectors. His board qualifications derive from deep career experience as an accomplished global business executive with a proven track record of leadership in starting up, turning around and growing international businesses, ranging in size up to $300M of Sales, across the Branded Consumer Goods and Restaurant sectors.
In addition to chairing the board of Zonatherm Products Inc., and its sister company ThermFlo Inc., a leading provider of mission critical thermal management and standby power solutions, Shay also serves on the boards of Kent Worldwide, a large and diversified global business with corn wet milling, animal feed and food subsidiaries and Park Industries, a leader in the stone working equipment industry. In his executive career, he has also engaged with joint venture boards in The Philippines and South Africa.
Shay’s executive career included 27 years at General Mills Inc., from which he retired as Managing Director of the Haagen-Dazs International Restaurant business. For much of his career at General Mills, Shay was Managing Director of various international businesses and completed expatriate assignments in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
